The C.H.S SPE-1209R-AF Power Source Convenient Router combines a small-high efficiency 9-port 10/100 Mbps router with eight 802.3af co***tible Power Over Ethernet ( PoE) output ports. The SPE-1209R-AF uses an external 48VDC power adaptor. Each of the eight PoE Ethernet ports can provide 15.4W of power as well as 10/100M data transmission over standard readily available Cat 5/ 5e / 6 cables. The new SPE-1209P-AF allows for both data and power to be transmitted over a single Ethernet twisted-pair cable to the attached devices.
The SPE-1209R-AF router is Power Source Equipment (PSE) and fully co***tible with Powered Devices (PD) that comply with the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard, allowing users to attach any IEEE802.3af compliant device such as Wireless Access Points (APS), VOIP phone, IP camera, printer and Network Attached Storage (NAS) to the SPE-1209R-AF without requiring additional power on the network. The unit is designed with home and small business users in mind and is a cost effective solution for environments where AC power is not available or too costly to install.
